Your job

As a Domain Expert within the Credit Risk Data & Modelling team, you will play a key role in ensuring that the bank is regulatory complaint, making sure the Bank calculates accurate Risk Weighted Assets and makes informed, data driven decisions.

You will work with regulatory experts from the Basel Centre and Policies to translate policies and banking regulations to lower level documentation. On the other hand you can be responsible for keeping oversight of the correct implementation of our requirements by Business lines and IT. You will work in a team developing new credit risk requirements, and in evaluating and improving the performance of existing credit risk implementations. You will contribute significantly to the success of our international team, which is a mix of internal and external people in different seniority levels, who can help you to develop your skills.

Your profile

•    Do you take ownership in a team, and would like to become a specialist?
•    Are you knowledgeable in credit risk or other financial risk areas?
•    Are you comfortable analysing regulatory requirements (CRD/CRR), policies and standards and draft and define detailed requirements based on this analysis;
•    Take the responsibility of being document owner of the documents delivered by the Credit Risk Data and Modelling team meaning, handling feedback, amending documents following new or updates policy's or regulations, SPoC for the document, liaison with Credit Risk implementation colleagues;
•    Do you like to prepare and promote workshops on the requirements with the different stakeholders within the ABN AMRO (Business Lines, Risk, Finance and IT);
•    Can you act as the linking pin between design and implementation by providing guidance to questions from implementing grids and programmes;
•    Pro-active and self-steering mindset. Comfortable with performing tasks with basic guidance and strict deadlines.
You hold a valid EU passport or work permit.
