Your job

This role will help you get a glimpse of how we at ABN AMRO support large corporations in their activities and enable their business to operate and grow! In this position, you will be supporting the corporate broking in their various day-to-day activities. In additions, you will work alongside of a fellow team member to support large client projects in different banks. 


Your tasks will include, but are not limited to:


•    File and Data Management; organization of large shareholder databases for corporate clients
•    Management of client communications and contracts 
•    Processing undeliverable mail in order to gain insight into the number of clients that are not reachable
•    Processing and saving physical mail in an organized and accurate manner
•    Depending on start date, processing proxy forms of shareholders related to annual general meetings
•    Depending on start date, setting up user accounts for the upcoming share register tool
•    Contribute to process efficiency together with the team

Your working environment

With their motto being ‘your deal is our business’, Markets Operations serve Global Markets clientele. The Corporate Broking Front Office team offers administrative services to companies listed on the Amsterdam stock exchange. As the Back Office of Corporate Broking is part of Markets Operations, the team makes sure that transactions are being processed efficiently and smoothly. The team currently consists of 15 team members who work at the Gustav Mahler location (when not working from home). The team is working in an open environment and constantly encourages each other to deliver the best results to our clients as possible. Although  during work hours the aim is to deliver peak performance within the team, after work there is also room for (digital) drinks and ‘get togethers’!

Your profile

•    You are at least an MBO student enrolled in a Dutch university
•    Your study covers Economics or other related fields 
•    You can start ASAP (flexible) for a period of 3 – 6 months 
•    You can professionally communicate in English and Dutch
•    You have extensive knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office
