Your job

The main function of the Increditibles team is to maintain the system for the administration and servicing of commercial credits and loans. The system migrated from an on premise application to a SaaS solution as a cloud solution by the vendor. The processes that have been defined by the vendor need to be followed by the team, but it has been a big adjustment for the team to understand and implement these processes.

The assignment consists of analysing and documenting the expected way of working according to the process of the vendor. The goal is to come to an understandable and agreed way or working with a full description of types of changes that are needed, as well as timelines. It is important to come to a conclusion about what the issues are with the current way of working.

Your activities will include but not be limited to:

  • Interviewing team members
  • Analysing process descriptions
  • Creating flow charts and value stream maps
  • Creating process descriptions
  • Do impact analysis with pros and cons

Your working environment

  • The whole team consists of 20 core team members and is divided into two Scrum teams. One team, The Increditibles, is responsible for the maintenance and changes of the system in productions. The other team, The 8-team, is responsible for upgrading the system to a new version. This specific assignment is for a position on the Increditibles team, which consists of Dutch, Indian, English, and Australian colleagues. There is a strong sense of responsibility within the team, and it is important to comply to the process of the vendor which is more strict in regards to timelines. This takes a lot of strict planning and is less flexible than previously. The team is very hands on and have the mentality of always willing to help.

Your profile

  • You are at least an HBO student.
  • Your study covers Data Analytics or other related fields.
  • You are enrolled at university for the entire duration of the internship.
  • You have affinity with business analysis and creating visuals (diagrams/flow charts)  
  • You can start ASAP.
  • You are available for at least 3 months (flexible)
  • You are fluent in English.
  • Analytical mind: your analytical skills are well developed in order to deconstruct problems and rethink possible solutions.
  • Problem solver: you are always one step ahead when a problem occurs; puzzling and rethinking possible solutions is something you enjoy; you can get quickly to the core of a problem and address it successfully. 
  • Team-player: You are a social person who loves to work in groups, sharing responsibilities but also laughs, coffee, and of course success; you can easily reach and collaborate with colleagues, either helping them out or requesting some assistance.
