Product Owner Domain Data Store Enablers

At a glance

As the Domain Data Store Enabling Product Owner you are responsible for multiple domain data stores and the underlying enabling platform that provides data capabilities-as-a-service for multiple business lines. The teams that you guide enable data engineering teams to build data pipelines and solutions. To do this, the platform teams build DevOps capabilities such as monitoring solutions, CICD and also with state of the art frameworks to ingest, transform and load data to multiple applications and users. The success of the data platform will be determined by the business impact of the features that are developed, the quality of the code that is pushed in production and the stability of the solutions that you're responsible for.

Your job
  • Create a product vision for data platforms on the public cloud (Azure)
  • Work closely together with data engineering teams to understand their use cases and functional requirements
  • Work closely together with enabling teams (e.g. infrastructure and security teams) to cascade our requirements
  • Creating the functional design of the platform together with data engineering teams and other product owners
  • Create and manage a well-defined backlog for multiple teams that work on different platform and capabilities
  • Creating a clear capability roadmap that is aligned with the business’ needs
  • Create synergy between the products to standardize as much as possible

Your profile
  • You have 5 years of experience in leading teams as a Product Owner with large enterprises
  • You have experience as a PO of data platforms on the public cloud (e.g. AWS, Azure)
  • You are able to successfully  manage a large and diverse set of stakeholders, both business and IT
  • You are able to make well-thought decisions under high pressure
  • You understand data and the complexity of data engineering
  • You are able to stand strong in tough discussion with key stakeholders
